The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks against Pakistani security forces over the past three days in various parts of Balochistan, including Tump, Zamuran, Noshki, and Mashkay. In a statement issued to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch outlined the details of the operations and reaffirmed the group’s commitment to what it describes as the armed resistance for Balochistan’s independence.
According to the BLF, the first attack occurred on the evening of 10 July at approximately 7:00 PM in the Malakabad area of Tump. BLF fighters, referred to by the group as “Sarmachars,” reportedly targeted an under-construction military outpost, setting it ablaze. As security forces moved to respond, the BLF claimed that its fighters, lying in wait, launched a counter-ambush that resulted in the deaths of two personnel and forced a tactical retreat by the remaining forces.
The spokesperosn said that on the following day, 11 July, two separate attacks were carried out in Zamuran. The first took place around noon at a security checkpoint in the Paganzen area, where BLF fighters allegedly used heavy weaponry to engage the post. Simultaneously, in a separate location identified as Arosien Dann, a BLF sniper team reportedly targeted a military position, killing one soldier.
The group said that on 12 July, at around 8:00 PM, another major assault was carried out on a Frontier Corps camp in the Zarrain Jungle area of Noshki. According to the BLF, the operation involved a two-pronged attack: one unit utilized sniper rifles and thermal imaging weapons, while the second team engaged the camp with rockets and automatic weapnos. The group claims that three personnel were killed and two wounded in this operation. In a subsequent ambush, a military convoy en route to provide reinforcements was also targeted. The BLF states that three more soldiers were killed and four injured in that encounter, after which the attackers reportedly withdrew safely from the area.
Later that same night, at approximately 9:00 PM, the BLF claims its fighters launched a rocket and heavy-weapons assault on the central military garrison in Mashkay. The attack reportedly lasted twenty minutes and, according to the group, inflicted additional casualties and material damage, though no exact figures were provided.
In his closing remarks, Major Gwahram Baloch stated that the BLF takes full responsibility for all these actions and reiterated that such operations would continue with increased intensity until the goal of Baloch independence is achieved. The spokesperson framed these attacks as part of a broader resistance against what the group calls the “occupation” of Balochistan by Pakistani forces.
