The family sit-in protest against the enforced disappearance of Sabir Noor and Abid Noor has entered its fourth day in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Panjgur.

The brothers, Sabir Noor and Abid Noor, were reportedly detained during a raid by security forces earlier this month. Since then, their whereabouts remain unknown. The family is demanding the safe return of both brothers.

It is important to note that Balochistan has been witnessing a surge in enforced disappearances. Over the last two and a half decades, more than 55,000 people have reportedly fallen victim to such incidents.

Meanwhile, continued protests have been held across the region for the safe return of the disappeared individuals. However, many missing persons have been found dead or killed in alleged fake encounters, while others have been discovered buried in unmarked mass graves, often without identification. Human rights organizations, including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, accuse Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies of being responsible for enforced disappearances and targeted killings in Balochistan.
