The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on Pakistani security forces stationed at the Zarghun gas field in Quetta on Friday night, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers and the destruction of surveillance cameras.
According to the BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, BLA fighters targeted the posts of the Pakistani military at the gas field using modern weapons, killing two soldiers and injuring several others.
The group also reported that its fighters destroyed the surveillance cameras installed by Pakistani forces for security and monitoring purposes.
Jeeyand Baloch reiterated the group’s opposition to the exploitation of Baloch national resources, emphasizing that the BLA will continue to intensify attacks on what they describe as exploitative projects carried out by the Pakistani military and its partners.
