Nine people have reportedly gone missing from the Noshki, Kech, and Kharan areas of Balochistan.

According to reports, six individuals allegedly went missing after a picnic celebration in the Daringarh area of the Noshki district. The detainees have been identified as Zia-Ur-Rehman s/o Badal Khan, Shoib s/o Molvi Muhammad Alam, Ubaid s/o Taoos Khan, Umair s/o Hafiz Umar, Usman s/o Azeem Khan, and Khalid s/o Zahid, all residents of Noshki.

Among the missing, Khalid and Umair are students, Obaid and Zia-Ur-Rehman work as laborers in Dubai, Usman runs a garage, and Shoib works in a factory.

It is pertinent to mention that Zia-Ur-Rehman was previously forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies, and was later released.

Sources have indicated that the missing youths belong to the family of “Jamiat Ulema Islam” provincial convener Maulana Manzoor Ahmad Mengal.

According to Maulana Manzoor Ahmad Mengal, contact with the hostages has been cut despite the passage of two days.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, Pakistani forces reportedly detained a man named Waleed Yousuf after an arrest in the Kech district of Balochistan.

Additionally, reports from Balochistan’s Kharan district indicate that on the night of June 26, Pakistani forces, consisting of four vehicles, raided the nearby village of Shahogirhi and allegedly detained two youths, Bilal and his cousin Khalid, who remain missing.

It should be noted that families are protesting against forced disappearances and calling for the recovery of their missing loved ones in the Kech district.
