At least six fatalities and eleven injuries have been reported from various districts of Balochistan due to firing incidents and vehicular accidents.
In Khuzdar district, near the Chakko police checkpoint, a collision between two vehicles resulted in three deaths and seven injuries. The injured parties were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical care.
On the Quetta-Dash-Sibbi road, near the Levies station, another vehicular collision left one individual critically injured, necessitating urgent transfer to the trauma center in Quetta.
Additionally, two individuals previously injured in an explosion that targeted the president of the Khuzdar Press Club, Muhammad Siddique Mengal, have passed away due to their injuries, increasing the explosion’s death toll to three.
Separate firing incidents have also been reported in different parts of the province. In Chaman, a civilian was severely injured by gunfire from unidentified assailants and is currently under medical treatment. In Pishin, a shooting wounded two police officers, DSP Police Ain-ud-Din and SHO Rozi Khan Kakar. Both officers were sent to Quetta for medical attention; however, Kakar’s condition remains critical.
Lastly, in the coastal city of Hub Chowki, a shooting at Aftab Chowk on Sakuran Road claimed the life of a civilian named Shoukat, son of Karim Jan. The perpetrators fled the scene following the incident.
