“Man Maniyan,” a song written by Zaheer Zarf, a poet hailing from Balochistan’s Hub Chowki, was recently showcased in Times Square, New York. The track tells the tale of a carefree girl’s journey towards liberation from the confines of her worries. It is performed by Alycia Dias and Eva B, the latter of which is a rapper hailing from Karachi’s Baloch community.
Upon witnessing his work’s display in Times Square, Zarf shared his emotions: “From the narrow and dark alleys of Hub to Times Square in New York… My song ‘Man Maniyan’ was featured today in Times Square, America. My heartfelt thanks go out to all the friends who have supported me.” His remarks shed light on the journey and collective support that fueled his creative endeavor.
