In Quetta, Balochistan, senior journalist Mehboob Nadeem Mehr and his colleague, Javed Langah, the bureau chief of Sindh TV, were reportedly attacked by a group of six to seven motorcyclists armed with sticks.

The incident occurred on Madressah Road in Sariab, within the jurisdiction of the Sariab Road Kechi Beg police station. Mehboob Nadeem sustained severe injuries in the attack, including a fractured arm and wounds to his chest and head, rendering him semi-unconscious.

Javed Langah, the bureau chief of Sindh TV, who was accompanying Mehr at the time, sustained minor injuries. Mehr’s vehicle was also severely damaged during the attack. After their assault, the attackers reportedly fired shots in the air before fleeing the scene.
