At least three people, including a woman, were killed, and one person sustained injuries in an explosion in the Rask area of western (Iran-administered) Balochistan on Thursday.
According to reports, a hand grenade explosion claimed the lives of Sohaila Askani, Zabad Askani, and Imad-ud-Deen, while Sohaila’s father, Murad Mohammad, was injured in the blast. The incident occurred in Murtan town of Rask.
The motive behind the explosion remains unknown as of the filing of this report. The region has witnessed similar incidents in the past. Earlier this year, Aminullah Salarzai was killed in a similar explosion in the Harmand area.
