In an incident highlighting the ongoing turmoil in Western Balochistan, Iranian forces carried out a raid in the Raask region that resulted in the deaths of a pregnant woman and a six-year-old child. The raid involved the use of both light and heavy weapons, leaving six others injured in its wake.
According to reports, the forces executed the operation in Jakkigur, a locality within Western Balochistan, during the early hours of Thursday. The violent raid not only resulted in the loss of lives but also caused significant destruction, with one-third of the targeted house reduced to rubble and a car set ablaze.
The casualties included a pregnant woman and a young child, both killed as a result of the indiscriminate use of weaponry. Additionally, three individuals were taken away by the forces during the raid and subsequently taken to undisclosed locations. Reports indicate that four Iranian forces sustained injuries during the operation and were subsequently transported to a local hospital in Raask for medical treatment.
