The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has reportedly killed two men suspected of working for the Pakistani military, according to a media statement released by the armed group. The BLA also stated that its fighters had destroyed an under-construction military outpost.

The two men, identified as Saeed, a resident of Punjab, and Mohammad Nadir from Zarghoon, Quetta, were reportedly detained by BLA fighters on separate occasions in June and July. The group claimed that detainees confessed under interrogation to being on the payroll of the Pakistani military.

The BLA claimed that Saeed, who was detained in Harnai, was operating under the pretense of being a carpenter when in fact he was colluding with Pakistani agents. Meanwhile, Mohammad Nadir was reportedly in Zarghoon to meet a local agent at the behest of Pakistani secretive services.

Upon these confessions, both men were reportedly sentenced to death by the “Baloch national court.” The BLA statement says that these sentences have now been carried out.

In a separate operation, BLA fighters destroyed an under-construction post of the Pakistani military in the Mansoor Top area of Peer Ismail.

Jeeyand Baloch, BLA spokesperson, pledged that the group will continue its fight against the Pakistani military and its collaborators until Balochistan achieves independence.
