Two persons abducted from Kech district of Balochistan

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, two persons have been forcibly disappeared from Dasht area of district Kech on Thursday.

As per the locals, Pakistani forces raided Jattani market of Dasht. During the raid forces arrested two men and moved them to an undisclosed location.

Abductees have been identified as Abdul Hameed s/o Khan Mohammed and Inayat-ullah s/o Abdul Sattar.

The term ‘abducted’ is widely used in Balochistan to connote arrests made by security forces as the arrested are not presented before court of law and instead kept in military camps.

Recently Campaign for the release of Baloch Missing Persons has once again gained momentum as families of the missing persons are again joining together in protests from all over the Balochistan.

Only in the last week tens of families have joined the ‘Voice for Baloch Missing Persons’ (VBMP) camp and some others are holding press conferences on daily basis.
