An IED blast killed a soldier of Pakistan and injured three in Dan kilay area of North Waziristan.

According to Pakistani media, a personnel of security forces has been killed and three others were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Dan Kilay area of North Waziristan.

Media wing of armed forces, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, Havaldar Ahmed Khan, 38 years old, who died in today’s blast was resident of District Mianwali. The fallen soldier left behind a widow, a son and two daughters.

It said that the incident took place when Pakistan Army’s bomb disposal team was on routine search and clearance operation as part of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
