Panjgur Additional Sessions Judge Asadullah Raisani was reported missing on Wednesday after leaving Quetta for Panjgur in his private vehicle with his bodyguard, local sources said.
Raisani left Quetta in the morning but did not reach his destination, sources said, adding that the last mobile phone contact with him was in the Kalghali area, after which he could no longer be reached.
Efforts were underway to locate him, while his family and colleagues expressed concern over his disappearance.
The incident comes amid a series of recent abductions and disappearances involving government and police officials across Balochistan.
