Pakistan’s military said on Saturday that seven militants, including a suicide bomber, were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Noshki district overnight between July 30 and 31.
In a statement, the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said Pakistani forces carried out the operation on the basis of intelligence reports and described it as successful.
The ISPR said one of those killed was a suicide bomber.
The claim comes as Pakistani forces have imposed a curfew in Noshki district for the past several days, while Section 144 has also been enforced, banning pillion riding and public gatherings.
The military’s claim could not be independently verified.
