Three new cases of enforced disappearances have been reported from Balochistan and Karachi, according to families of the missing individuals.

Family members stated that 18-year-old Umar Baloch, son of Majeed Baloch and a resident of Dasht in Kech district, was taken into custody by Pakistani forces during a late-night raid at his home on 9 May 2026 at approximately 1:30am. Relatives allege that personnel from the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), and Military Intelligence (MI) were involved in the operation. They say his whereabouts remain unknown.

In a separate incident, Dr Zaheer, son of Yaqoob and a resident of Hoshab in Kech district, was reportedly detained in Quetta on the night of 11 May 2026 at around 2am. According to relatives, the 27-year-old BDS doctor was taken from the Isa Nagri area on Brewery Road by CTD personnel and has not been seen since.

Meanwhile, in Karachi, the family of Tahir, son of Mohammad Yousuf and a resident of Rexer Line, Lyari, reported that he was taken from his home during the early hours of 23 April 2026. The 25-year-old mobile phone repair technician was allegedly detained by CTD personnel and moved to an undisclosed location.

The families of all three individuals have appealed for information regarding their whereabouts and called for their safe return.

Separately, two individuals previously reported missing in Karachi have returned home, according to family sources. Dawood Baloch, son of Ibrahim, and Ayesha Baloch, daughter of Lal Jan Baloch, both residents of the Kalri area, were reportedly released after several months in detention. Family members said Ayesha Baloch returned home on 9 May 2026, while Dawood Baloch returned on 10 May 2026.
