At least three people have died and one other was injured in a series of separate incidents reported across Balochistan.
According to reports, a labourer died after suffering an electric shock while at work in Lasbela district’s Uthal area. His body was transferred to a nearby hospital.
In another incident in Chattar, police said a man identified as Manzoor Ahmed allegedly shot and killed his father, Muhammad Yaqoob Sumalani, following a domestic dispute before fleeing the scene. Police took the body into custody and said a search operation for the suspect was under way.
Separately, in the Khost area of Harnai, a coal miner, identified as Mohibullah, was killed when a section of the mine collapsed during mining work. Another worker, Pista Khan, a resident of Qila Saifullah, was injured in the incident. Rescue teams retrieved the body and the injured worker, who were subsequently shifted to hospital.
