Seven Baloch individuals, including a 13-year-old boy, were reported missing after being taken into custody by Pakistani forces in Punjab and Balochistan in recent weeks, local sources and the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) said.
According to local sources, four Baloch men were taken into custody at about 8pm on 14 February 2026 from the Multan city of Punjab by personnel whom relatives identified as members of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). Their whereabouts have remained unknown since.
The four men were identified as Muhammad Ismail Buzdar, son of Khuda Bakhsh; Jalil Buzdar, 20, son of Muhammad; Muhammad Latif Buzdar, 20; and Ghulam Deen Buzdar, 37, son of Muhammad Khan. All four are labourers from Fazla Kach in the Koh-e-Sulaiman area.
In a separate incident, two men were reportedly taken into custody about a week ago from the Jorkin area of Nushki district in Balochistan. They were identified as Raouf, son of Khair Jan, and Anjum, son of Chakar Khan.
Separately, the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) said a 13-year-old boy, Amanullah, was taken into custody by CTD personnel at about 2am on 20 February from Killi Jeo in Quetta.
According to the organisation, Amanullah’s uncle, Asad Bangulzai, contacted VBMP and said the child had not been produced before any court and that his whereabouts remained unknown.
VBMP said Amanullah’s father, Inayatullah Bangulzai, had also been missing since 23 May 2014, when he was allegedly taken into custody by Pakistani forces from Spilinji area of Mastung. The organisation said a commission had issued a production order in his case, but he has not been recovered.
Family members in all the cases said that if any charges existed against the missing individuals, they should be produced before a court in accordance with the law. Otherwise, they demanded their immediate release.
