The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) said on Monday it had carried out more than 30 attacks across multiple districts of Balochistan, as fresh assaults continue to be reported across the region.
In a media statement, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said the attacks targeted military installations and armed groups it described as “state-sponsored death squads” in areas including Jhal Magsi, Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur and Kech.
He said the operations were continuing “across the length and breadth of occupied Balochistan,” adding that “dozens of occupying personnel” had been killed and many others injured.
“Complete details regarding all these attacks and the specific losses inflicted upon the enemy will be released to the media soon,” the statement said.
The BLA’s media wing Hakkal also released a video showing an attack on Pakistani forces in Jhal Magsi, in which military vehicles were seen being destroyed.
Meanwhile, fresh attacks were also reported across multiple districts as coordinated assaults continued to spread.
In Kech district’s Dasht area, armed fighters targeted a military camp in Kudan and attacked a reinforcement convoy on Monday evening, local sources said. Heavy gunfire and explosions continued for several hours.
An armoured vehicle was destroyed in a blast, they said, adding that fighters took control of a Levies station and a NADRA office and seized weapons from personnel.
In Kalat district’s Manguchar area, simultaneous attacks were reported at multiple locations, where heavy gunfire and explosions continued for more than four hours, local sources said.
They said forces’ camps, posts and checkposts were targeted at more than nine locations, including the Tehsil camp, Bazaar camp, Dhor camp, a camp established in a college, several posts in the market and positions at entry points of the town.
A military armoured vehicle arriving as reinforcement was also reportedly targeted during the attacks.
Earlier, a forces post at Lakpass near Quetta was targeted, where a radar system installed on a nearby hill was set on fire and destroyed, sources said.
