A house belonging to a local family was demolished in the Panwan area of the coastal city of Gwadar, according to relatives, who allege that the operation was carried out late at night in the presence of Pakistani security forces.
Family members said heavy machinery was brought to the area during the night, and the demolition operation continued until approximately 3 a.m., completely razing the house. They claimed that a large number of security personnel were deployed in the vicinity throughout the operation.
According to the family, the demolished property belonged to a household that has previously faced multiple incidents involving detentions and enforced disappearances. Relatives stated that one member of the family, Tariq Kalmati, was subjected to enforced disappearance last year and was later found dead.
The family further alleged that several other relatives had previously been taken into custody or gone missing under similar circumstances, contributing to ongoing fear and uncertainty among household members.
No official statement has been issued by authorities regarding the reported demolition or the allegations made by the family. Local residents say the incident has heightened concerns in the area amid continuing reports of security operations and related actions across parts of Gwadar.
