Four individuals have reportedly gone missing after being taken into custody by Pakistani law-enforcement agencies in the districts of Kech and Panjgur, according to local sources. Families claim the men were detained and subsequently moved to undisclosed locations, after which their whereabouts remain unknown.

Local sources identified the missing individuals as Haji Munir Ahmed, son of Mohammad Bakhsh; Majid, son of Qadeer Ahmed; Abbas, son of Bahar; and Mehran, son of Haji Akbar.

According to relatives, Haji Munir Ahmed was detained on Wednesday from the Chitkaan area of Panjgur. In a separate incident the same day, Majid was reportedly taken into custody from Isa area, also in Panjgur.

Two other individuals, Abbas and Mehran, were allegedly detained on 15 November from the Menaaz locality in the Bulaida region of Kech. Local accounts state that no information regarding their condition or location has been provided since their detention.

Human rights organisations have repeatedly expressed concern over what they describe as a longstanding pattern of enforced disappearances in Balochistan. Both local and international groups have called for transparent investigations and effective measures to ensure the recovery of missing persons.

Meanwhile, reports have also emerged of security operations, including raids and search activities by Pakistani forces in Sibi and Quetta districts. However, there has been no official confirmation of arrests or casualties in connection with these operations so far.
