A woman was allegedly shot and killed by her husband in the industrial city of Hub on Saturday evening, according to local police.
Officials said the incident occurred in the Bhawani area of Hub, where the suspect reportedly opened fire inside their home, killing his wife on the spot. Preliminary police findings suggest the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute.
Police said the woman, who was the mother of two children, had no immediate relatives present to claim her body. Her remains were shifted to the Edhi morgue for safekeeping.
Authorities added that the alleged perpetrator fled the scene after the shooting. A murder case has been registered, and police have launched a search operation to locate and arrest the suspect.
