The Jaffar Express has once again failed to reach Quetta after railway authorities withheld its security clearance, officials said on Saturday.
The train, travelling from Peshawar to Quetta, was stopped at Jacobabad station after clearance to enter Balochistan was not granted.
Railway officials said passengers were later sent onward by public transport.
Travellers expressed frustration at the repeated suspensions. They said the stoppages caused “serious inconvenience” and appealed to the government to ensure the train operates safely and on schedule.
The service has been repeatedly suspended in recent months due to security concerns.
Earlier this year, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked the train, claiming to have killed more than 200 Pakistani military personnel on board. In August, it was targeted twice in separate attacks, after which authorities began regularly delaying or suspending its operations.
