Two individuals, including a minor boy, have reportedly been subjected to enforced disappearance following a military operation in the Gogdan area on the outskirts of Turbat, Kech district.

According to local sources, Pakistani forces launched a search operation around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, placing the Gogdan locality under siege and subjecting several residents to physical abuse. The operation was conducted shortly after an improvised explosive device (IED) attack targeted a security forces’ vehicle near the Soraap Bridge.

Sources said that security personnel detained two individuals, identified as Fazal Elahi, son of Elahi Bakhsh, and Zaid, son of Zahid Ali. They were taken into custody from their shop, and their whereabouts remain unknown since their detention.

Family members of Fazal Elahi said he is suffering from a serious illness and is currently undergoing medical treatment. The families expressed deep concern for his safety and appealed to authorities for the immediate recovery of both Fazal Elahi and the minor boy.
