The decomposed body of a man previously subjected to enforced disappearance was recovered from the Parom area of Panjgur district on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Inayatullah, son of Khair Muhammad.
According to family members, Inayatullah was abducted in early December last year by individuals in a vehicle. They alleged that he was taken from his home by members of a so-called “death squad.”
Meanwhile, in the Buleda region of Kech district, the body of another man, identified as Dil Jan, son of Khuda Bakhsh, was discovered in the Saloi Kaurdam area. Levies officials said the victim had been killed the previous night and his body was dumped in the area.

Local sources said that Dil Jan, a resident of Buleda, was abducted on 22 July from the Minaz area, where he had gone to have his motorcycle repaired. Notably, Dil Jan had previously been forcibly disappeared four years ago and was held in custody for four months before being released.
Eyewitnesses and local residents alleged that he was also abducted by members of a “death squad.”
In Balochistan, the term “death squad” is widely used to describe informal armed groups that are alleged to operate with the support of Pakistani military and intelligence agencies. Baloch nationalist circles and human rights organizations have frequently accused such groups of involvement in enforced disappearances, targeted killings, and violence against political activists.
