A Federal Constabulary personnel reportedly died by suicide in the New Sariab police station area of Quetta, while a separate knife attack resulted in the death of a young man in the Shalkot area.
According to police, FC personnel Ijaz Ahmad allegedly took his own life by hanging in Asif Town, Sariab police station area, reportedly due to salary suspension for the past four months and domestic problems. The body was reportedly handed over to relatives after necessary procedures.
In a separate incident in the Shalkot police station area, a youth reportedly killed his cousin with a knife attack.
According to police, Asim, who was residing in a private hotel room on Karachi Road in the Shalkot police station area, allegedly stabbed his cousin Tayyab to death with a knife before fleeing the scene.
The body was reportedly transferred to a hospital and handed over to relatives after necessary procedures. Police are conducting further investigation into the case.
