The Baloch Women Forum (BWF) has raised grave concerns over a renewed wave of extrajudicial killings in Balochistan, accusing state security forces of staging fake encounters involving individuals who had already been forcibly disappeared.

In a statement released Sunday, the BWF condemned what it described as a systematic campaign of state-sponsored violence targeting the Baloch people, following the recovery of several bodies in recent days, all identified as previously abducted individuals.

According to the BWF, three bodies were brought to Turbat Civil Hospital by security forces. The deceased were identified as:

Imran Baloch, son of Abdul Wahid, a resident of Dashti Bazaar, Turbat, was forcibly taken from his home on April 9, 2025.

Hamid Baloch, son of Mola Dad, a resident of Absor, was detained on April 14, 2025.

Irshad Zabad, son of Zabad Baloch, from Jat Kolwah, was abducted from his home on April 5, 2025.

“These young men were already martyred after being forcibly disappeared, but now their deaths are being staged as recent encounters,” the BWF stated.

In a separate incident on Sunday, the body of Waheed Baloch, son of Karim Dad and a resident of Essai Kaur, was discovered in the Rakhshan River in Panjgur. He had been missing since March 31, 2021. “After four years, his lifeless body was returned to his already grieving family,” the statement read.

The Forum also reported the killing of Lal Jan, son of Ellahi Bakhsh from Taplo Zamuran, who was shot dead during alleged indiscriminate firing by security forces in Panjgur the previous night.

Other recent victims include Sameer Ahmed Sabzal, a driver who was found dead on May 9, just eight days after his reported abduction on May 1, 2025, and Ehsan Shoukat of Kolahoo, who was allegedly targeted and killed on May 4—likely by local militias said to be operating under the direction of security agencies.

“This is not an isolated string of incidents,” the BWF warned. “It is a continuation of the state’s broader agenda to devalue Baloch lives and enable the exploitation of Balochistan’s land and resources. Such ruthless actions are deepening the sense of deprivation and fueling a complete breakdown of trust in state institutions.”

The Forum has called on the Pakistani authorities to urgently address the escalating human rights violations and acknowledge the growing discontent among the Baloch population. It also appealed to the international community, especially human rights organizations, to take urgent notice and intervene to stop what it describes as the ongoing “Baloch genocide.”

No official response has yet been issued by the Pakistani government or law enforcement agencies regarding the BWF’s allegations.
