A Baloch student was reportedly detained by Pakistani forces from Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, and shifted to an undisclosed location.
According to reports, Sajjad Ishaq, a second-semester law student at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), was forcibly disappeared on Thursday from I-10 Markaz, Islamabad, at approximately 5:30 PM.
Sajjad, a Baloch student, had previously been reportedly abducted from Khuzdar and released after three days. His re-abduction raises serious concerns about the continued enforced disappearances of Baloch students in Pakistan.
Human rights organizations and student activists have condemned the incident, calling for his immediate release and an end to the targeted abductions of Baloch youth. Family members and fellow students are demanding urgent action from the authorities to ensure his safe return.
This case adds to the growing list of enforced disappearances of Baloch nation, a crisis that has drawn national and international criticism.
