A 65-year-old man has allegedly been detained along with two children by Pakistani forces in the Kech district of Balochistan.
According to reports, Pakistani military forces detained 65-year-old shepherd Abdul Karim and two children from the Mehnaz area of Buleda in Kech district, shifting them to an undisclosed location.
Relatives stated that Abdul Karim, despite his poor eyesight and advanced age, worked as a shepherd to make ends meet. They also emphasized that he has no affiliations with any political groups.
They added that no information has been provided about the detainees since their arrest. The family has called on authorities to take immediate notice of the incident and ensure their recovery, appealing to government agencies for justice.
It is worth mentioning that enforced disappearances are not uncommon in Balochistan and continue to rise daily. Human rights organizations and Baloch political parties have accused Pakistani military forces of involvement, allegations that Pakistani authorities often deny or refuse to comment on.
