Three young men have reportedly been forcibly disappeared in separate incidents in Balochistan’s Kachhi and Quetta regions, while two previously missing men from Gwadar and Turbat have been released and reunited with their families.
In the Kachhi district, two men, identified as Saeed, son of Abdul Samad, and Ali Muhammad, son of Abdul Ghafoor, were detained during a military operation in the Bardi area. Local sources said the men were taken to an undisclosed location, and their current whereabouts remain unknown.
In a separate incident, Pakistani forces reportedly detained Aslam, son of Kunar Khan, in Quetta’s Hazarganji area on Friday night. Aslam, a resident of Narmuk in Kalat, was in Hazarganji to sell crops, according to sources. His whereabouts also remain unknown.
Meanwhile, Nauman Ishaq, a resident of Gwadar’s Baloch Ward, has returned home after being missing since November 7, 2024. His family had staged a sit-in protest outside Gwadar’s GT Gate, which they suspended following negotiations with government officials.
Another individual, Fida Wali Dad, who was reportedly taken by Pakistani forces from Absar Turbat on January 9, 2025, was released on Friday night and reunited with his family.
