Baloch “pro-independence” groups have claimed responsibility for multiple attacks on Pakistani security forces in Balochistan. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) issued separate statements detailing their recent operations.

The BLA’s spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, said in a statement to the media that its fighters targeted Pakistani military personnel in two separate incidents in Kech and Panjgur districts. The first attack occurred in Dasht’s Jat Bazaar area, where a remote-controlled IED detonated at 3 p.m., killing two motorbike-riding soldiers and destroying their vehicle.

In a second operation late Saturday night, BLA fighters attacked Pakistani military posts guarding a water supply station in Panjgur’s Gudgi Bazaar. Using automatic weapons and grenade launchers, they injured at least three soldiers, the spokesperson claimed. The BLA took responsibility for both attacks, emphasizing its commitment to continuing operations against Pakistani forces.

Meanwhile, the BLF’s spokesperson, Major Gohram Baloch, described a separate attack carried out by the group’s Special Operations Squad on December 15 at 6:30 p.m. in Panjgur. The squad reportedly fired multiple grenades at a Pakistani military camp, causing what the group described as “significant casualties and damage.”

According to the BLF, the attack targeted a gathering at the camp held to celebrate a recent operation in Sabz Koh, where Baloch fighters were allegedly “martyred.” The gathering reportedly included military officers, ISI and MI personnel, local death squad members, and informants. The grenades struck the intended location, causing chaos, followed by retaliatory gunfire by the Pakistani forces, which the BLF claims further terrorized local residents.

The BLF spokesperson also alleged that the targeted camp houses a joint ISI and MI office and accused Pakistani forces of harassing civilians in frustration over their losses. He claimed that BLF operations, guided by advanced strategies, are increasing pressure on the Pakistani military, causing them psychological distress and leading to reprisals against civilians.

Both the BLA and BLF reaffirmed their resolve to continue targeting Pakistani forces, installations, and informants until the “complete withdrawal” of Pakistani forces from Balochistan.
