Pakistani forces have reportedly forcibly disappeared five individuals, including three brothers, in separate raids in Balochistan’s Turbat and Mastung regions, local sources said.
In the Apsar area of Turbat, three brothers—Ehsan Manzoor, Afzal Manzoor, and Hamid Manzoor—were reportedly detained during a raid by security forces late on December 10.
Their family said that a heavy presence of forces surrounded their residence and took the brothers into custody. No information about their whereabouts has been provided since.
The family has appealed to the Commissioner of Makuran Division, the Deputy Commissioner of Kech, and human rights organizations to assist in securing the brothers’ safe return.
Separately, in the Dasht area of Mastung district, Sami Kurd, son of Dur Muhammad, and his cousin were also reportedly detained by Pakistani forces. According to family sources, as cited by the Baloch Voice for Missing Persons (VBMP) on social media, the two were detained on November 9 and remain missing.
Meanwhile, in Kalat, three brothers who were previously reported missing have been recovered.
Reports indicate that Mahboob Ali, Irshad Ahmed, and Mureed Ahmed were forcibly disappeared from Killi Zakariazai Manogcher during a raid on the night of December 8.
Their family staged a two-day protest, blocking the Quetta-Karachi highway to demand their release. Following assurances from local authorities, the protest was called off, and the brothers returned home shortly afterward.
