Dr Mahrang Baloch and other members of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) reached Mastung to offer condolences to the families of children who lost their lives in the recent bomb blast.
On this occasion, Dr Mahrang expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of these lives. She remarked that the people of Mastung are being punished for their bravery and awareness. She added that even innocent children, as pure as flowers, have become a source of fear for the enemy.
Dr Mahrang emphasised that the BYC stands in solidarity with the families in their grief. She further stated that “the Mastung bombing is a continuation of the ongoing genocide against the Baloch people, in which the enemy has become so blinded that even innocent children are not being spared.”
Dr Mahrang explained that Mastung has been a political and resistant stronghold of Balochistan. Deliberate efforts are being made to destabilise the region so that people cannot come forward to fight for their rights. The targeting of school children is intended to keep Baloch people away from education and unaware of the injustices they face, she added.
