In Quetta, Balochistan, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) held a protest rally and demonstration against enforced disappearances in Balochistan. Led by Dr. Mahrang Baloch and the families of missing persons, the rally started from Sariab Road University Chowk and proceeded through various streets before culminating in a demonstration at Abdul Sattar Edhi Chowk. The protesters carried banners, placards, and photographs of the missing, demanding their safe recovery. A large number of family members and citizens participated, calling for justice and accountability.

This protest is part of the BYC’s ongoing campaign titled “Breaking the Silence: Standing Against Enforced Disappearances,” which has seen similar demonstrations across Balochistan, including in Karachi, Hub, Khuzdar, Turbat, Panjgur, and Kharan. Meanwhile, reports of fresh abductions, such as the enforced disappearance of two individuals from Nasirabad, highlight the continued struggle against such incidents.
