At least three individuals were killed and 21 critically injured in a series of deadly accidents across Balochistan.
According to reports, a bus of pilgrims returning from Shah Noorani Dargah overturned due to high speed near Shah Noorani Cross in Hub Chowki, the industrial city of Balochistan. The accident killed a child and left more than 20, including women and children, critically injured. Six of the wounded are in critical condition.
In another incident in Dera Ghazi Khan, two high-speed motorcyclists collided, resulting in the death of a man named Ismaeel son of Noor Khan on the spot. The other motorcyclist, identified as Shambay son of Taj Muhammad, was critically injured.
The deceased and the injured were shifted to a teaching hospital, where the dead body was handed over to the heirs after the necessary forensic procedures.
In Gwadar’s Jiwan area, unknown ‘hunters’ reportedly shot down a man named Abdul Basit, whose body was recovered by the administration. It’s still unclear if it was a hunting accident or a deliberate act. An investigation reportedly underway to unearth the truth.
