At least seven people from Punjab were killed by armed attackers in the Panjgur district of Balochistan on Saturday.

According to reports, armed men stormed a house in the KhudaBadan area of Panjgur, opening fire and killing seven people from different parts of Punjab, while one person was injured. Police officials said the deceased and the injured were taken to Panjgur District Hospital.

The deceased were identified as Sajid, son of Allah Bakhsh; Fayaz, son of Allah Datta; Khalid, son of Fida Hussain; Shafiq, son of Faiz Bakhsh; Iftikhar, son of Iqbal; Salman, son of Fayaz; and Bilal, son of Shaukat. The injured person was identified as Muhammad Ramzan, son of Allah Yar.

Police confirmed that the deceased and the injured were from the Multan district of Punjab. Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, and Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, condemned the killings.
