Pakistani military forces have come under attack in Balochistan during ongoing operations.
According to local sources, military helicopters were seen flying over Mach and surrounding areas in Bolan as part of the operation. At least six helicopters were involved, alongside a large number of ground troops.
In the Splinji area of Mastung, a bomb explosion targeted Pakistani forces engaged in military activities. Authorities have yet to release details, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Later the same day, armed assailants launched an assault on a military camp in Mastung city. Witnesses reported loud explosions followed by heavy gunfire. The attackers fled the scene, and officials have not yet provided information on casualties or damage.
In another incident in Turbat, a mortar shell was discovered near an intelligence agency office in the B&R Colony. Police responded to a report of a suspicious object, and a bomb disposal unit safely defused the device. An investigation is underway.
These attacks add to the growing unrest in Balochistan, where tensions have escalated in recent months.
