A military operation by Pakistani security forces continued for a second day in the outskirts of Quetta, with helicopter shelling reported over several areas.
Helicopters have been seen over Zarghoon and the nearby regions of Shahban, Saresha, Wali Thangi, and Thor Shar since Thursday, according to local sources.
Local reports indicate that shelling took place in the area on Friday, but there is no information yet on any damage or casualties.
Authorities have not yet released any official details about the operation.
