Enforced disappearances are a recurring issue in Balochistan. Baloch political and social groups criticize these disappearances, describing them as a form of ‘collective punishment.’ They argue that such actions not only affect the individual but also cause significant distress to their families.
International and regional human rights organizations have repeatedly expressed alarm over the ongoing reports of enforced disappearances in Balochistan. Despite these concerns, incidents continue to be reported regularly, highlighting the persistent human rights issues in the region.
