Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies have allegedly detained a man from Gadani, an industrial town in Balochistan, and moved him to an undisclosed location.

According to reports, Wadera Sattar, son of Hassan, was apprehended by Pakistani security forces and intelligence personnel in Gadani for providing food and water to Baloch women and children who are participating in a sit-in protest.

Following his arrest, Wadera Sattar was reportedly transferred to an unknown location.

It is noteworthy that dozens of travelers are stranded near Gadani after being denied entry into Gwadar. They were also blocked from entering Karachi by Pakistani security forces and police, leading them to stage a protest sit-in near Gadani.

In a video statement from the sit-in protest in Gadani, participants claimed that they had set out from Karachi on July 27 to attend a rally in Gwadar. However, they were stopped by Pakistani forces, who allegedly resorted to violence and destroyed their vehicle tires to prevent their entry into Gwadar.

The protestors stated that, being unable to proceed to Gwadar, they attempted to return to their homes in Karachi. However, Frontier Corps and police forces stopped their convoy near Gadani and prevented them from entering Hub and Karachi as well.

Additionally, the authorities imposed restrictions on food and water supplies to the rally participants, forcibly shutting down nearby hotels and shops. Today, a local Gadani resident who was providing food to the protestors was also forcibly disappeared.
