Three Baloch armed groups have claimed responsibility for several attacks on Pakistani forces and a road construction company in different parts of Balochistan.
According to reports, the spokesperson for the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) Jeeyand Baloch, stated in a press release to the media on Monday, that their fighters targeted and destroyed the water supply line of the Pakistani army in Zamuran area of Balochistan.
The spokesperson said that in the Archin Kaor area of Zamuran, the “occupying” Pakistani army had installed machinery to supply water to their post, which was targeted by BLA fighters. The machinery, along with the electrical equipment, was destroyed in the attack, he said.
On Sunday, in a press release, the BLA spokesperson stated that their fighters had killed Lal Jan Marri, “a collaborator of the occupying Pakistani army, in an operation in the Machh, Geshteri area of Bolan”, he said.
The spokesperson said that since 2017, Lal Jan Marri had been acting as an informant for the Pakistani army’s intelligence agency, MI. In December 2023, during an operation in the Daranjeen area of Machh, BLA freedom fighters apprehended Asmani, also known as Othe, son of Tangu Marri, who revealed during interrogation that Lal Jan Marri was connected to their network and was working as an informant in the area.
He further stated that Lal Jan Mari had been directly assisting the enemy army in military operations and enforced disappearances in Geshteri and other areas of Bolan. He was also found involved in luring and coercing other individuals into becoming informants for MI.
The spokesperson emphasized that Lal Jan Mari was executed for committing national treason and meeting his disgraceful end. The Baloch Liberation Army will never forgive individuals committing national treason and will ensure that they meet their logical end, just like Lal Jan Mari.
