At least four people were killed and three injured in various road accidents in different areas of Balochistan on Thursday.

According to reports, a pickup vehicle and a trailer collided in Balochistan’s district of Lasbela near Utthal Liyari Hassan Hotel which injured five individuals. Rescue authorities shifted the wounded to a hospital where two of them are said to be in critical condition.

On the other hand, one of the two policemen, Muhammad Ali Ronjha, who was critically injured in a high-speed collision between a police van and a car in Uthal, lost his life. The accident occurred on Monday, and Officer Ranjha succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the trauma center in Karachi. His demise has brought the death of the accident to six, with the other five victims also being Ronjha’s fellow policemen.

In a separate incident in the Wadh area of district Khuzdar, four young men reportedly lost their lives in a tragic road accident. The deceased have been identified as Abdul Jabbar Langaw, Abdul Sattar Langaw, Munawar Ahmed Langaw, and Siraj Langaw, all residents of Hub-Chowki City.

It is pertinent to mention that road accidents are a daily occurrence in Balochistan. Every year thousands lose their lives due to outdated and dilapidated roads.
