The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a ‘pro-independence’ armed group has claimed responsibility for a bomb attack on a Pakistani military vehicle in Panjgur, which resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and injuries to at least four others.
Jeeyand Baloch, spokesperson for the BLA, said in a statement that the attack was carried out using a remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED) at Makoi Dan, near the Soraap area of Panjgur. The explosion severely damaged the military vehicle, killing two Pakistani soldiers instantly.
“The BLA fighters targeted the Pakistani military vehicle with a remote-controlled IED. Two enemy personnel were killed, and four others were injured in the explosion,” Jeeyand Baloch said. He added that the BLA will continue its operations until the “complete withdrawal of occupying forces” from Balochistan.
