Another case of suicide emerged in Winder, a tehsil in Balochistan’s Hub district.
According to reports, a thirty-year-old young man named Yaqoob took his own life by hanging himself, in Mendiyari area of Winder.
The police took the dead body to the civil hospital and then handed it over to the heirs after necessary procedures. However, the motive behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
It is pertinent to mention that Balochistan has witnessed a surge in suicide cases in recent years, with several women, and men, which also includes teenagers succumbing to such tragedies.
The main causes of such incidents are said to be unemployment, lack of basic facilities, insurgency in the region and counter insurgency policies by the State, including threats by the Pakistani law-enforcement agencies.
