According to reports, on May 9th, Pakistani forces allegedly forcibly detained two people on a highway while they were on their way to the Noshki district of Balochistan.

The detainees have been identified as Noor Ahmed, son of Sayad Khan Sumalani, and Sahib Khan, son of Jalal Khan Sumalani, residents of Noshki’s Reko area. They used to earn their living by herding and farming.

It should be noted that forced disappearances are becoming a serious issue in Balochistan day by day. This month has been particularly dark for the victims and their families.

Pakistani forces reportedly forcibly disappeared two people from Turbat last night, prompting families and residents to stage a sit-in protest in front of the DC office, demanding the safe recovery of their loved ones.

On the other hand, the dead body of Yar Muhammad was found in the Chattar area of the Dera Murad Jamali district on Monday. He was reportedly detained by Pakistani forces on Saturday last week.
