In the Josak area of Turbat, security forces carried out a raid on the residence of ‘Fidayee’ Ayoub Azeem, during which Azeem’s family members, including women and children, were reportedly assaulted.
Local residents claim that Pakistani forces, in significant numbers, cordoned off the area and allegedly resorted to violent actions against women and children. Additionally, it was reported that all mobile phones within the premises were confiscated during the operation.
The forces also purportedly issued a warning to Azeem’s relatives, stating that further consequences would ensue if Ayoub Azeem’s brother does not present himself at the forces’ camp.
This incident follows a pattern observed in the district of Khuzdar, Balochistan, where Pakistani forces previously detained and forcibly disappeared the father of Shaukat Hakeem Gango, the commander of the BLA Majeed Brigade’s Gwadar attack. Gango’s father was released after a week.
