In a recent statement, Shahin Baloch, a leader of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) accused Pakistan of forcibly integrating Balochistan into the country under the guise of Islam. Despite 74 years passing, Balochistan continues to be deprived of all basic amenities. Shahin Baloch claimed that after seizing all resources of Balochistan, the rulers in Islamabad are callously enriching themselves while Balochistan languishes in poverty.
Recent torrential rains have devastated various parts of Balochistan, with floods causing extensive damage and claiming numerous lives. However, the aid intended for the flood victims has yet to reach them, neither from Islamabad nor from the provincial authorities, TTP leader said.
Shahin Baloch refering to the news reports said that 17 people have lost their lives, while 24 have been injured in various incidents in Sorab, Pishin, Dera Bugti, Loralai, Kech, Gwadar, Chagai, and Chaman areas of Balochistan but the aid distributed by the Pakistan army was already expired.
Shahin Baloch urged Baloch and Pashtun traders, transporters, and affluent individuals to generously assist the flood victims in Balochistan during these challenging times. He called upon the people of Balochistan to unite and make concerted efforts to establish an Islamic system, “as the 75-year-old democratic system has only brought us mass graves, oppression, and disappeared individuals, and nothing else.” He said that the unity can only protect their future generations from oppressive regimes and rulers.
