Unidentified armed men reportedly kidnapped the security personnel of the under-construction and seized their arms in Balochistan’s Kalat district on Thursday, as per media reports.
The armed men raided the site of an under-construction dam in the Khazinai area of Kalat and kidnapped two private security personnel stationed there. The Balochistan Post could not identify the detainees.
Local sources told TBP correspondent that a large number of armed people reached the said location and seized the arms of the dam security personnel and took them with them.
As of writing, neither the district administration nor any armed group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
