A young boy and a girl were killed in the name of honor in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district on Friday.
According to the reports, a young boy and a girl, identified as Shehzadi d/o Ghulam Jan and Mohammad Noor s/o Ramzan, have been killed in the name of honor in the Greshag area of Khuzdar.
The incident took place on April 12th in the Goni area of Greshag. The local sources told TBP correspondent that the attackers killed the boy and later the girl in the name of honor.
It is to be mentioned that such incidents are rampant in the Naseerabad and Jaffarabad districts of Balochistan. Pakistan has the highest number of estimated and documented honor killings per capita in the world – about one-fifth of the world’s honor killings are performed there.
