Eleven Pakistani soldiers were killed and two were injured in a series of coordinated attacks across Balochistan’s Bolan, Gwadar, and Kech districts. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a ‘pro-independence’ armed group, has claimed responsibility for these assaults, vowing to keep fighting until Balochistan achieves liberation.
Jeeyand Baloch, the BLA spokesperson, stated that BLA fighters executed an improvised explosive device (IED) attack on a Pakistani military vehicle in the Peer Ismail Indus area of Bolan. The explosion killed ten soldiers and completely destroyed the vehicle.
In another incident in Gwadar city, at the Baloch Ward location, BLA fighters targeted a coast guard checkpoint with a hand grenade, injuring two soldiers.
Additionally, BLA fighters targeted a communication tower operated by Ufone in the Sunni Shoran area of Kacchi, rendering the tower’s machinery inoperable.
Jeeyand Baloch also detailed an attack in Turbat city, where BLA fighters used grenade launchers to target the office of Pakistani Military Intelligence (MI). This attack resulted in the death of one soldier at the security checkpoint and caused significant material damage.
