Pakistani Army’s media outlet claims to have killed seven “militants” in an intelligence-based operation in the Zhob district of Balochistan on Monday.
Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) claimed in a media statement on Monday that the Pakistani forces killed seven alleged militants in a security operation in the Sambaza area of Zhob district. However, the ISPR didn’t reveal the identity of the deceased.
The ISPR said it had confiscated a large cache of weapons and explosives from the alleged militants. ISPR further added that clearance operation is underway in the area.
It’s pertinent to mention that Pakistani forces have killed many people in encounters in various areas of Balochistan, including Zhob, however, later many of these people have been identified as previously forcibly disappeared persons.
In a similar development in November last year, the forces claimed to have killed six “militants” during an operation in the aforementioned area – however, later the deceased were identified as previously detained persons.
